Peace
Charis is a merger church - Peace Assembly and Gereja Charis Assembly.
Presently, the church has a combined congregation that exceeds 200
peoples who come from all walks of life, from young children to elderly
senior citizens. Apart from attending Sunday Service, PClites (Church
members) meet regularly during weekdays at the member's homes. The
gatherings which are called 'Life Groups', served as a multi-purpose
driven gatherings where activities such as bible study, prayer,
counseling are carried out.
The
Chinese Speaking Congregations comprise of many local people and
students from University Putra Malaysia (UPM); whereas worshipping with
the English Speaking Congregation consists of mainly families whoe have
moved to Seri Kembangan from other towns or states because of work and
also students from UPM (from other states in the country), foreign
students from Africa and Indonesia as well as lecturers from Africa,
India and Indonesia. Sunday School for young children is held to impart on the children with the knowledge of Christian values. Young
Adults Life Groups if for teenagers, young working adults, and
universities/college students who prefer energetic activities. Life
Groups for married couples with children also serve a purpose for the
members to share the miracles of God's work in their family lives. Elderly
members also enjoy a less formal gathering where their needs are met.
They get to learn to pray and to encourage one another. God has
done great and miraculous works through all these Life Groups. The love
of God and His Glory are shown through Christian fellowships. PCA
(Peace Charis AoG) has all the Life Groups to cater for the needs of
all ages.
